If you make $100K a year, proportionally that is like trashing a $1000 hoopty.

 

Ya 3rd and reverse in those trannys always lets go in my experience. I'm currently doing an LS1 swap and am going with an auto trans because there's just no manual option that will last behind a engine putting down serious power. Unless you go with like a albins or fortin sequential. The NV4500 is the best option if really wanna do it and even that is pretty ehh. Giant, heavy, etc. The T56 is a car trans and isn't going to work well in a truck or 4Runner. It's also a slip yoke trans which makes it less than ideal to use in a Long Travel application.

 

Thought I saw that 6x6 on a flatbed heading towards glamis, if I had his money I sure as hell wouldnt be driving that thing in the dunes...

Someone ran out of talent? Looks like Barstow headed from slash-x to the wash. There are some whoops with an odd cadence on that side, and I have wheelbarrowed there myself. It's really sketchy as there is a nice run up to build speed followed by some nice rollers that transition to choppy whoops.

 

Yup that's Kyle's truck, from what I read on IG it's a whole shit show on what happened with other people getting involved..

 

Pretty sure this is the same truck I saw out at Cougar Buttes yesterday. Just off of Camp Rock rd. There was.a group of LT Tacoma's one was jacked up.

 

What suspension is he running? The whole truck pretty much looks stock in the photos; minus the wheels, tires, stickers and light bar...

 

Basic mid travel F & R if I'm not mistaken, uppers, kings, and spindles up front and kings and some aftermarket leaf pack out back

Calling SDHQ tomorrow and will most likely be ordering the camburg 95-04 kit.

 

Total Chaos!!! You can't beat their customer service and focus on building Toyota stuff.

 

Yes but total chaos doesn't offer a kit with over 13" of travel. Camburg has two kits available.
