Just realized the Grand Canyon is only 4 hours from Vegas. Definitely going to see that!

 

I'm also in the camp that doesn't really enjoy Vegas whole lot. Expensive, Disney land for adult, just not my cup-o-tea.

Of course I've always been there for work, so I guess it might be different if I were able to cut loose.

 

Hoover dam is on the way too.

 

Yeah, I feel like it's one of those things that if you're in the area you should go down the strip. Otherwise It's not something I'm going to go out of my way to see.

Last time I was there it was for work, but I only worked for 6 hours out of the 2 days I was there. This time I'm going to be there a lot longer.

Yeah, we drove out and looked at that last time I was there. I'll probably go there again since this time I'll have my camera.







I wouldn't mind being stationed there if it wasn't for the hour and a half commute to work and back and that the units I'd be working at aren't as good as the one I'm currently at. But the scenery and outdoors are almost tempting enough to make it worth it...

First off! The God damn weather prediction was a complete and utter shit show. Predicted like 5 to 9 each night, didn't hapen. Last night predicted 8 to 10, only got like 6 max. I've never seen NOAA predict so much and it actually deliver so little.

So I want to say its a base of like 50? With the new snow and a season total of 91

But today was still a ton of fun! Left and upper portion of the hill had like 6" of fresh so I got a number of good slashes and snow in my face, jumped off some fun stuff.
