Went for a drive with the family up in Corralitos today to find some puddles. We ended up going through an open gate and driving 6 miles into Nicene Marks State Park. Didn't realize the road was for bikes, horses and hikers till some woman walking her dog stopped us. Oops, but we had a blast. It was super pretty and we had a blast driving through the redwoods.

Found this poor guy on the side of the road.

Ha Ha! Oh well. At least you had a good time!

The deer carcass might be left over from on of the mountain lion studies. Hopefully, there's no game camera near there...

I'd say $250 picked up, and quite possibly this year. Need like 1 or two more pieces for the return to stock, and then a free weekend to start putting it all back together.

I love that place! Always used to stop there when I was in the area. Real resorts are run by generators!

Funny story. Camping at Gerle Creek, went to Robb's for ice/beer. I was wearing a shirt my wife had got me from Disneyland. Pirates of the Caribbean skulls and crossbones, with "The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves". Walking up there are a bunch of tough looking biker guys drinking on the patio. Flabbergasted, I see one of the biggest dudes has the same shirt on! I flash him a smile and show him my shirt. He proceeds to yell "Brother!!" And gives me a big hug and slap on the back. I was surprised by his reaction. Looks at the back of my shirt, cracks up, and says he hasn't seen that one yet. It was then I noticed his shirt said Pirates of the Rubicon . I did my best to hide the Disneyland copyright as I went in for beer
