Is this the old AmericaOne America's Cup boat?

Awesome shots! Especially the sunset and "Waterfall"

Honestly I have no idea, I don't know anything about boating/sailing. Oracle's name was on the sail :notsure:

    Thank you!

OK. It was AmericaOne. It's an old America's Cup boat that was sold to Oracle as a training boat (I think that's the correct order).

Great stuff AJ, the waterfalls and the blue of the GT-R are spot on!

Racecar sailboats are beyond me... must be hard to captain and maintain!!!

I don't know much about them but OneAustralia sank. It's about the same vintage as AmericaOne. Fast boat too.

The amount of engineering that goes into America's Cup boats to make them fast and light is as amazing as the amount of money that goes into building one.

You literally are the main reason I'm in this thread and shooting with a 6D Monte... Guess I owe you the thanks for making me go this deep :anonymous: :D

Some of that is editing since I took my time with those, but the new setup really just has that edge to it over the 60D and standard glass er "kit" lenses.

Least you can look forward to shooting with it someday and giving some night stacks a go with it

In the raw audio (w/o commentary), you can hear a pronounced "snap" when the boat breaks. When it aired, you'd have thunk those guys were all gonna drown-little boat, big ocean. But the thing is, you don't see all the rigid inflatables that chase after the race boats. :D
