That land Rover looks is piece of crap. Lol. He got stuck in the sand with open diffs. You figure a locker would be mandatory for a competition like that. And his tie rod broke or something. And he was bitching about the other guys not respecting Alaska's nature because he thought they ran over a tree that was blocking the trail. You figure trees had to be cut down in the first place to make that trail.

oh and yes seats belts…use them. i just slammed my lip into the steering wheel off roading today. not fun with a bloody mouth before lunch.

If I bring the airsoft shotgun then it's a lot less paperwork when have to keep you inmates in line

I didn't finish watching it yet, but I think it's liek one car too far; they don't use an overbuilt truck so to keep the truck owe to what a viewer could drive. And they usually pick bad lines in the beginning to show you how to recover. Wouldn't be interesting to most people if all they did was breeze through everything

 

It's a race so their not showing the how to correct it part.
But it is entertainment...mullet and all.
I would like to see the truck the camera crew is using.

 

Aloha Guys. Since my truck is just collecting dust in the garage, and it a little small for 2 car seats in the back, im throwing around the idea of letting her go.

Truck is cherry and has never been off road. Clean frame. No dents or scratches. Always garaged. I hate to let her go but it doesn't get used. cant justify keeping her when we have another keiki on the way. Will be on craigslist after I renew the registration, probably today.

Just as an add-on, I have 2 car seats in my DC and it fits pretty dang good. Have a 2 and a 5. Both are in pretty big car seats (cause as you know the safer ones are always HUGE)...

It is totally doable.. keep the truck.. stroller can easily go in the bed especially with your cover. Granted our CRV may have a bit more passenger space, but my CRV doesn't go to the beach or camping..

 

I second that. I have two car seats for a 1 and 5 year old. And, my truck is the family vehicle taht we use to put miles on. Not exactly the most comfortable with everyone in there and I'm 5'11 so there's barely any room behind my seat. But, I would'nt give up my truck for anything. I'd rather chop my balls of and make sure I don't have any more kids

Yah i hear ya. But its just sits in the garage, since i really dont use it for work. Hard to justify a payment, insurance, and registration for something that doesnt get used. Im going back and forth on this. Plus the extra cash would make paying for daycare for 2 keikis, a little easier. Hard choice. Ive always wanted this truck, and have built it up how I wanted. Hard to let go.

 

The way i figure, when i move work locations to somewhere thats not so bad for a new truck, ill get a tundra or something bigger. Got that in writing from the old lady. Im the one who brings in the money, so its my say! Haha. We see how that one goes eh.
