    Hey Guys,

I have a question, long time member but its been a while since I posted here. I owned three Tacoma's 2002, 2007, 2011 all Double cabs. My wife owned a 2008 Camry, 2010 Corolla and her current vehicle is a 2014 Rav-4.

For towing/hauling reasons Im currently driving a GMC Seirra, coming back to a Tacoma soon. Saturday out of the blue my wife receives a check in the mail saying she was part of a class action lawsuit for unintended acceleration and it was for $268.00. Now, I didnt buy into this back when it was occuring because I didnt believe ( still dont) that these issues were occuring. My question is is this a scam to get my banking information, or have others received this check too?

If not a scam, does anyone know of which of my above vehicles this check was given to us for? I apologize if this is a repost topic.

    Thanks

Not sure if it helps, the check was exactly $278.71. It dont list which vehicle, the letter was kind of vague.

I got one in the mail yesterday as well. Mine was about $32... I had an 09 XR, but i didn't have trouble with acceleration sticking. Only think was bad was the clutch in the 6spd was faulty.

I read up on it. My wife bought her car the week this story broke, we got an incredible deal on the car because of the story and my dealership was itching to sell anything. From what I gather, the check was given to us because devaluation that occured due to the story. I told my wife this morning, others received this check as well, cash it. It will help with Christmas. Thank for the replies.
