I realy hope you are younger than 26... Or I'm just advanced for my age in grouchyness. :p

Also had to look up that acronym. I'm out of touch.

Most of my CDs are from local bands I hear at dance halls, the rest from Amazon. Yes, I use a phone to buy physical media delivered to my doorstep!

Have found some good CDs at Walmart, I like the 5 album packs for $20.

Installed a Gentex with Homelink, compass and temperature. Not too bad a job, until I got to trying to set up the Homelink and had to stop and find the control box for my Homelink translator module - which took me another half hour since we haven't needed it in a few years! (Chamberlin door opener... well, the battery backup works as advertised which came in real handy over the last three days with no power aside from the generator.)

On Tuesday, I installed a Truxedo. On Wednesday, we got a foot of snow. Timing is everything LOL!

As an aside, thanks to Truck Alterations for the great deal they give TW members on the Truxedo Lo Pro QT, and thanks to Bob Prim (Bob's Automotive Mirrors & More) for a good deal, great communication and superfast shipping on the Gentex.

As a further aside... truck turned 1000 tonight as I rolled up the driveway! Man... and it is exactly one month since I drove it off the lot, too.

In the midst of a rare cleaning streak attempting to get things set up in my new house, wiped down the remnants of bar oil that's been oozing around the bed. The hazards of using tailgates at workbenches.

By the way, bar oil has to be the nastiest oil I've used.

The same shit everyone else has.
Installed another 12v socket in the center console.

Its out of a VW Jetta. The cap is spring loaded and the ring around it glows amber. I need to wire it up still. I plan on changing the 2 in the lower dashboard to these as well.

I also finished up the LED bed light and 12v socket bed socket project.

I cleaned my throttle body and MAF sensor today. Also bypassed the coolant lines on the throttle body.

Yes, I believe they do. CD's replaced those messy tapes that kept getting stuck and unraveling with modern technology that just gets jammed instead, without the unsightly mess of tape hanging out of your radio. :)

Why bypass the coolant lines for the throttle body?

If you don't have issues where it gets cold enough to freeze your throttle plate closed then by bypassing the throttle body, you keep 190+ degree heat away from the throttle body and thus keep from heat soaking your intake air charge.

I'm not really sure. I suspect that if you live somewhere where a block heater is necessary, then I wouldn't do this.

I kinda laugh at the guys doing CAI's, and NOT doing this. I mean, you just spent $200-$400 on an intake to cool the air right before it gets sucked through a throttle body heated to engine coolant temps? And they wonder why there's minimal performance gains from them....
