    Yea no doubt! Lol

I thought that the OMEs have less travel than the 5100s.. I'm very happy with my OME setup up front

I need to measure ext/collapsed lengths so I can buy the right ones. Maybe go a shock relocation too

My 5150 did this too on the same side. Seems to have come unthreaded from the mount. I tried threading it on, but it happened again, so I ended up putting two heavy tack welds on it to keep it secured. (its never going to be depressed enough to do damage to the shock body.)

Yeah, Ive noticed bilsteins tend to pool water there and slowly rust the lower end of the rod (right where the threading starts into the lower eye mount). Bilsteins need to be mounted upside down IMO (and take that damn boot off if you haven't already :p)

Turn them over and take off that boot. They will last longer

with the 5150's they have that little attached piggyback reservoir so I dont think that's supposed to go on the bottom. Not that it would matter to performance, it would just look odd.

Yeah that wouldn't work. I would take those boots off though. Mine kept filling up with water.

Shafts should go down anyways. Keeps the body away from rocks and keeps water and shit from pooling up on the seal on top of the body.

Boots just trap lots of shit though for sure. I'd take mine off..lbut it's too late. My 5150s have no oil left in them anyways

Light racing ucas are a nice cheaper solution.

OEM uppers are fairly cheap. Can't hurt. Also can't hurt to just get some nice uniball uppers

Hit up Bamatoy, he has an alternator upgrade and he also builds some kickass cables. I will be updating both the 4Runner and the Tacoma after the first info the yr with his stuff.

For a 14 year old truck it's roughly 10k a year so I'm not complaining haha

Stuff and things that make it better.
I'm going to add a LCE 160A when the time comes. They are a little pricey ($285) but much cheaper than the DC power inc ones.

I guess I'll go OEM on the tie rods...moog is actually more $$$. But they do have lifetime warranty unlike Toyota

I got quoted $400 to change all the fluids in both diffs, tcase, tranny and engine. That seems like a lot of $ fir what's getting done. Is that actually a realistic estimate?

Is that labor and fluids? If so it sounds reasonable. Might as well throw in a coolant flush while your at it.
