It's a stock 16" set off a Tacoma. I'm going to be putting them on my 2008 Tacoma (after a nice black powder-coating) and adding my 265/75/r16s to them. The guy THINKS it came off a '98. Here's a pic so you know which wheel. I don't know the backspacing or offset on these and would like to know if anyone here knows before I make the hour long drive to check fitment. Thanks a ton for your help.

ps, anyone know if this is a 16x7 or a 16x8? Because that would be a deal-maker or breaker also.

i think the thing to watch out for will be the rims rubbing on the calipers. depending on the backspacing, u might have to run spacers to have them out enough to not touch.

Ya, I've heard that is a big problem with the new Tacos. Does anyone know for sure if this particular wheel is going to be an issue on fitment? I'm fighting with myself over buying these wheels (if they will work) or painting my stock steelies black since it would be cheaper. I'm getting married so I've turned into a penny-pincher.

you might want to double check the size of the rim. I had those same wheels on my 2000 and they were 15 inchs
