I'd like: diesel engine making at least the same power as the current V6, double cab with 6' bed WITH a manual transmission, rear disk brakes, better seats, and a windshield that doesn't whistle.

I just want lukewarm leftovers, with a side of afterthoughts and a big glass of 7 year finance options.

Actually Beavis, I don't think you're (that) wrong, sorta? The fifth, sixth and seventh generation Toyota truck is called Tacoma. But it shared it's 5th generation name with the hilux. The yr 1995-1995 1/2 connects them. It puts the Tacoma in the big picture category. Hence 7 generations. But, to your defense the Tacoma name only occupied 3 generations. That means you're right! Sort of? So I've saved you from your peers! :D

You're very welcome! I didn't have to study that shit, much. I actually bought, new, off the dealer lot the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th generation Toyota. DAM. I haven't seen it all, but I've seen a lot.:)

The blower is loud and not that impressive frankly... it's better than 236, but it's not 350 either...

I wonder how much profit margin there is for Toyota on those Superchargers...

It's already the lightest midsize truck by a pretty significant amount. I hope they don't make it lighter--at least not the back end anyway.

I have the pretty gauges and my leafs won't break and hit the fuel tank -- 5th Gen!

I said the same thing, now I get 12-14 mpg and realize reliability isn't everything.

200miles on a tank of gas is annoying and expensive.

We could all wait till 2016 and start building our 5cyl turbo Mercedes Benz deisel swaps. Our frames will be rusted out by then anyways so we can all just rebuild the trucks with an engine we actually want.
