Maybe he ain't the national average?
If I only had one vehicle to use I would've put over 20K miles on my truck in the last 10 months.

I've had my temps for over a year, and my dad and I made many hunting trips with it. I bought it right when I got my temps.

There is one thing I have learned about this place, no one here is average or ordinary or sane for that matter.

Ours aren't that old (just turned 141K). I am encouraged by all these trucks with over 250K on them.

Just about 1 year now on my cs144. Very happy.

Consistantly carry 14.3+ volts at idle even with the headlights on, the heater blowing on high, the windshield wipers going and the alpine amps pumping out the tunes. Knocking on wood as I write this. :D

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
My 99 had 287k miles when I sold it.. Only changed oil, shocks, startor, belts, batteries and a few bulbs

well a redone stock one won't be a great choice IMO. Im sure there are tons of other options that will work better.

Hell, you could go BIG and get a Green Machine(??) one :p

    like..285amps or something ridiculous..

    BUT

then you could mount an arch welder too it :cookiemonster: haha
