I had fried backstrap last month for the first time in about 2 years. Talk about amazing.

Ah...nope, it's just a basic metal bar from the bracket section at Lowes. Came with holes already drilled too.

I've got ammo cans floating around, that would slide in nicely behind my toolbox... I just might steal your idea! Easier than the small black pouch I keep somewhere behind the drivers seat. Only thing I might ponder is a way to make it somewhat quick to remove. Last time I grabbed my kit was to get to someone that couldn't be moved.

Guess I could just stash the pouch inside a .50 cal can. It's about the right size.

This is the best addition I have seen to a taco yet. I can't wait to make this addition myself!

Got an oil change and car wash. Then installed my interior LEDs, LED license plate lights, LED reverse lights, and LED front turn signals.

Not in SC , but im pretty sure its 50 state legal. its perfectly clear so i dont see why it would be a problem and i really doubt a cop would even know it was on there. its hard to me to tell its on there.

Looks good. You may want to consider adding a lock if you value what's inside. I also removed the handle so it wouldn't rattle. Adding some carpet helped with rattles also. AND one more thing. Use large washers on either side of the can. Mine are starting to crack after years of bouncing around.

Busy busy! On top of my day job, I've picked up a couple more side jobs on top of Adams Polishes. Now selling a lot of aftermarket parts like Bilstein, H&R, BBS, BC Forged, Milltek, and many more. And I've not picked up the camera in forever it seems. Hell, modding on the Taco stopped months ago after grabbing an mk7. Gotta find time to get back to this great forum :)

A new day. A new Mod.
I just put a set of Dee Zee 4in oval nerf bars on my 05 taco. Bought them from runningboardwarehouse.com at a great price with free shipping. It took longer to answer all the questions from my five year old grandson about them. Then it took to put them on. They fix perfect. I love them. I post a pic if I could figure out how to get it on this site.

Great choice! What size? Notice any significant differences from your previous set of tires?

265 70 17. My originals were shot so there's deffinately a difference. It does ride softer. We'll see how they are when snow comes here in NY

Parked next to this old timer in the light rail lot.

Also got a interim "safety" recall for the leaf spring configuration in the mail. So it'll be nice to be able to get the additional spring on the dealerships tab.
