pork chops are a great change-up too. I'll have pork chops once or twice a week it seems. Marinate it in some terriyaki with some soy sauce and throw it on the grill. Delicious

They sell the olive garden salad dressing in stores now so I usually marinate my pork chops in that and bake them. I use to grill them but not anymore for food prep cause they tend to dry out the next day in the microwave, but if I'm making them for dinner that night then I'll grill

I love that dressing! We buy in bulk at Sam's. For pork chops to last all week, if you soak them in salt water overnight before cooking them, they'll be as juicy as a steak for 4-5 days.

I also like getting a big piece of salmon and grilling it every now and then.

I'll have to try to salt-water idea. We usually buy ours in bulk at Costco. As for salmon, I usually put some italian dressing on it and slices of lemon and bake it. If I grill it I use the wooden smoke planks or some type of wood chips with it.

On a side note, I waited too long to order my protein and ran out this morning so I guess I'll be picking some up today at GNC. Was going to try the ON, any flavor recommendations that mix well? I was thinking maybe strawberry. I was on MP Combat cookies n cream.

Strawberry is great, but my favorite is chocolate. Every flavor I've ever tried mixes great. I'm an ON whore though, so I'm biased.

The soaking in salt water is called brining and you can do it with chicken, too; it makes it so much juicier.

I try to stay away from any flavors other than chocolate or cookies and cream. I swear every time I've tried something new its ended up tasting like shit and taking forever for me to go through. Never tried anything from ON I didnt like though. I've had the vanilla caramel "carnivor" brand protein for a little while now and I just can't make myself drink it consistently

That's how I am with the fruit punch myogenix; I got a great deal on it, thanks to Babytaco, but the fruit punch flavor is God-awful. Only 38 more scoops to go!

Any of y'all use creatine? Just curious. I always kinda felt like it was a waste since you basically seem to lose it all once you come off of it and that it seems to mostly be water weight.

What brand? Been thinking about giving it a shot to see if I can notice anything. You take it pre and post workout?

ON, of course; it's so cheap, too. I just take it in the morning. I don't think it really matters when you take creatine. A lot of people put it in their shakes, but I take it in a small glass with water like a shot. Creatine doesn't dissolve easily, so in shakes, a lot gets left behind.

Yeah I had heard the monohydrate is the best but it doesn't mix at all. You have a flavored powered?

Since I take it like a shot, I did unflavored powder. Can't taste a thing.

    If you go with this:

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/o...5&cadevice=m&gclid=CN3a1PHDqMICFWRp7AodyhsAcg

you can get a 4 month supply for $30 (that's if you're over 200 lbs and do 10g per day. If you're less than 200 lbs, that will last you 8 months.)
