I went out the other day 9 degrees out to warm my shitbox up . Came out 15 minutes later to my windshield cracked right were the heater blows. I'll wait till spring to get a new windshield .

I personally wouldn't let bumper to bumper work on my truck. The owner is a dirtbag .
I've never owned a remote start but wouldn't mind having one now that I can't park in the garage . Post up if you find a good deal.

I almost had them tint my rear window, but $125 was too steep. Never really heard much either way about them, although not a good area to say the least.

    Yes, but stripping with guns...
Think Jessica Alba in Sin City.

You'd best watch out, she may take her work home with her. And if that's the case she'd probably 'bang' you center of mass. :D

You're just jealous because I live in a state that lets me buy guns without having to get a special permit first. :brianr:

Not sure if you have a shitty windshield or an awesome heater...

I paid last year and never went wheeling with NTC.

If I have extra cash I'll do it

You have guns... what the hell are you going to do with a machete, should have just bought more ammo... An ax and a good shovel would be much more useful additions IMO.

I just googled this to see if I could use one on a stick truck. Evidently that thing allows an alarm system to interface with the databus in the truck withou having to splice wires. There may be a separate remote start controller that connects to this thing.

I stand corrected. From Flashlogic's website it looks like this includes a remote start. Here what they list for 2013 Tacomas; http://www.flashlogic.com/search/se...id=2013&vehicle_model_id=159&vehicle_id=18104

It appears that any of the remote starters should be professionally installed now due to having to access the manufacturer and download items only available to vendors

I'm in a similar situation to Alex at NTC. I went with them once last year and paid the $50, but didn't go out again and neglected to pay this year's dues. I'll likely pony up the $50 again though.

I have an axe and shovel already. This has a saw on the back of it, plus the only other blades in my truck are pocket knives.

And I got more ammo. 100 more rounds of 12ga

    I'm not the only one.

I hardly call it a similar situation. Newborn baby, mortgage, new car payment etc. Plus you don't wheel very often.

Yeah OK. Look above! Oh and how much was the ammo, knives etc? Last thing to do on this board is say that you don't have any money after all the bragging you have done for all the stuff you have bought.

    I'm done!

    I'm not bragging, Jesus.

I paid dues after the Rausch takeover last year, and didn't do a damn thing with NTC. I use my guns and knives more often than I wheel with NTC....

I agree that they are in touch with local officials to plead our case, but I take trash off the trails every time I wheel. I do my part for the community. Why should I pay when I never wheel with that club, and I'm doing the same thing already?

If I had spare hobby cash I'd consider it, but I'd rather get my skids reinstalled THEN worry about what club I wheel with. For now I'm gonna stock up on ammo, fix what I need to fix, putt around on some class 6's, and do things with the NEX club I'm a member of... Free of charge.

And by the way, the ammo and machete was $53.98. Tax free in Salem, New Hampshire, and I'll get my money's worth out of that investment.

Valid points. Having responsibilities really puts a damper on doing stuff I want to:rofl:

Man you never stop do you? You always seem to try and have the last word, even if you don't know about the subject!!!

It's not necessarily the wheeling with the one particular club that I am talking about. Clubs like NTC, Yankee Toys, South Shore Wheelers etc pay fees to other organizations like NEA and NOVA. Those organizations combine together to buy land and organize clean ups (that get recognized) to keep class 6 roads and other places open. It's not wheeling for free, your reaping the benefits of others and you are refusing to see it. I commend you for picking up on the trails but if you really want to do something to keep the "free" trails open join a club and give a day to do a clean up or a trail maintenance day so that more of the population recognize the effort and votes to keep places open.

It's not just here it's nation wide. I have volunteered my time with other clubs to do clean ups. As well as done rides for good causes just to help out in whatever way possible.
