    Any goalies out there? Not about the NHL but I started playing this year. Bought a TON of new gear, got all pumped up after 2 games with it, then got a concussion at work and can play anymore. Pro gloves, chest protector and new pads with tags all sitting here I cant use. Im so depressed

    Have you had multiple concussions? I can't see giving it up. I played net from 7 yrs old up through college then 5+ in men's league before switching to forward just for fun. Never once got a concussion while playing net. If you really like it rest up and get back in there:cool:

    First documented one ever. Im just terrified now. Its such a bad injury I never really knew much about until now. If I have no symptoms I might try next year but its just so slow and far away it seems. Concussion came from work too not hockey, but it just seems dangerous now to me

    I'm notified at least once a month with documentation about students with concussions from various sports and activities. After a month or so sometimes longer they are always back to whatever they were doing before. But I guess it depends on the severity of the concussion. I hope things heal up well for you and your able to get back into it eventually. :D
