    It usually takes more than one concussion to start causing serious harm.. I've had three or four now from skiing, two where I was out cold long enough for ski patrol to show up before I came too and I was never told I should stop skiing or anything. I would assume its similar for hockey, especially a goalie who isn't seeing the constant head contact that many other players see.

    I usually had shitty headaches and stuff for about a week, and then I was back to normal. The first one I woke up puking the next morning which warranted a trip to the ER though

    The thing about playing goalie that most fail to realize is that while tracking the puck, you pay no attention to the surrounding battles and when the crash (either from driving to net, or simple screen and dude is sitting on your head) happens, you don't even see it coming.

    When you get a neck stinger from head being forced down into body, it makes you aware how easy a neck injury can occur and why goalies get so pissed with people in the neutral zone.
