Not yet. Most of the people don't. My end game will be one of the Donaldson pre filters or a topspin. Hit a few beaches and plenty of torrential downpour.

I am going to make, or have one made, an aluminum pipe with a catch area to replace all the plumbing in the engine bay.

On point though. Have been looking for a second winch for the rear of the truck. Might do it in the spare tire location area, or mount it under the truck near the front of the bed. Thought process is, I get stuck, I can go back out of danger, instead of going further into it. Better for self rescue. Also, will be able to easily load 'game' when I'm hunting solo so much easier.

So my smittybilt x20 is on and the selinoid is on top of the fuse box. I winched the truck 100 ft up a hill with no issues this weekend. I did see the headlights dim quite a bit when winching. The wireless remote is awesome.

Do you think getting heavy duty caterpillar battery would be a good option? It's good for long slow pulls. But I'm not sure. What's your opinion

I did a really long, very heavy pull last weekend with the Diehard 31M battery with no issues with the battery at all. I have an extremely power hungry winch too.

The winch actually started giving up after a bit, probably due for service. Its the first time this winch has missed a beat. Its a Warn 9.5XP-S and is pretty damn bulletproof. I have pulled on it many times and never really did any service so I would think its more my fault than the winches.

I was pulling another truck that lost an axle up an incline that I had just got up, need to be locked front and rear. Needless to say it was a tough pull, enough that it was pulling my rear tires off the ground. We finally had to find another way out.

Nice! That looks identical to my set up. Only difference would be that I relocated my solenoid and my prolink is silver.

    ARB bumper
M8000 (amsteel blue line) w/ roller fairlead
    F55 prolink w/black smittybilt shackle

I should relocate my solenoid as well. Not doing it has me perplexed how to completely secure the bottom of my grill from a bit of back and forth movement.

I looked through all 34 pages of this thread and you seam to be the only one running this setup. What do you think of it nearly two years after your initial install. I am considering a USoffroad bumper to install it in.

    Thanks!

Prob arent going to get a response from him anytime soon :). But, Call JD @ Demello Offroad, he installed one in his FJ prior to becoming a vendor and thought it was worthy enough to distribute. He prob still has it in his FJ.
Seems legit for a good price point.
