I love my tacoma. It is the second one I have bought. I think the design will evolve over time and when I am ready for the next one it will be sufficiently updated to be attractive. Constant change means constant problems so I value that my current tacoma has been virtually the same for 10 or so years. Stability and longevity are ok in my book. I have had many vehicles and my tacoma and my Subarus have always been the ones I have had the least issues with. My jeeps and fords have all had some major issue while I owend them. Subaru has the same issue as the taco... Always kinda outdated compared to competition. But they always work when I need them too.

I voted no only because I really want a new 4runner. But if it was not for that yes I would lol.

Yes I would... I had a frontier that was paid for with relatively low miles and dependable but just bought a tacoma and I also had an 81 Toyota pickup way before tacoma, but now in a gen 2

Well, I have a 2000 4x4 Tacoma at home in the garage, and a 2010 X-Runner outside in the parking lot at work, so it's a definite maybe.

Since Toyota is no longer making a reg cab Tacoma, I will not be able to purchase another. Ext cab will not fit in my garage. This will probably be my last truck period. All the new trucks are too large for my garage. Why do they need to be so big?

I'm 41 and I have never ever bought two similar trucks or owned the same SUV/truck for more than 3 years and I don't think really this is gonna be my first time but I don't know , I like the Tacoma and if it proves to be a super reliable truck like some people here claim it is well I guess then maybe yes , but im also on the watch for any midsize truck with a diesel engine like some others ..

I've had two Tacos and will definitely consider a third in another year or so. I have the 2.7l and admit I'd like to see an engine option with a bit more oomph that is competitive, mileage-wise, with the 2.7.**

I'll probably test out the new 2015 F150, but the full size trucks do challenge my garage's width-wise storage space. We intend to drive our new truck on a cross country retirement road trip, so comfort will be a factor.

** Yes, it's ok for a truck owner to be concerned about gas mileage.

There is an option with more oomph that gets almost the exact same mileage- the V6. I had a 2.7L before my current V6 and it's just about a 1mpg difference between the two.

I obviously would buy another Tacoma, I did.

I'll be ditching the Tacoma for a 3/4 ton or bigger Duramax ASAP.

Friggin Ford came out with a twin-turbo 2.7l four cylinder that puts out 325 HP and 375 torque.

Yeah, the F150 is too long for many garages. My neighbor has his Access Cab 2015 F150 sitting in the driveway because of that and he's always garaged his trucks. The thing is like 240 inches long, and that's an Access Cab. That 5.0 Coyote motor is pretty sweet.

It's good to hear all these positive comments as I was beginning to lose faith in the Tacoma with all its current problems. That said I've ridden to Canada pulling a fully loaded down boat and 4 guys in both an f-150 and an Avalanche. The Ford's windows wouldn't go up/down and it rained inside the truck if it was likewise outside. The Chevy you had to open the "trunk" with a pair of needle nose pliers and the gas gauge didn't work and the speedometer didn't work and... well you get the picture. Owner has always said "yea but the engines are so good." My Taco is 8 yrs old with 120k on it and EVERYTHING works. I won't be buying another though. Heck I'm 62 and plan on driving it until... well, you know. Besides it's wonderful to have zero vehicle payments.

No, If I was in the market for another truck/car, I would get something else. I've owned this one for 5 years already; a year from now would make it 6. It's always fun to have new shit, so why not?!
