Vacationing in New England, I see.
Figures. It was only a matter of time before you got sick of all those 10 gallon hats on 2 quart heads down there in Texas. :D

Same here. I get the basic 87 octane stuff and add a squirt of the blue stabil to the fuel at the same time that I add the 2-stroke oil. The Husky doesn't seem to mind; I've been doing that since they started with this ethanol bullshart, and I haven't had to rebuild the carb on it yet. :notsure:

What Brand? I'm surprised they let you buy that much in one shot.

Was over there last week and picked up 2 buckets of 1,400 rd Rem. .22lr for $.05 a round. Had to go back 2 separate days because it was 1 bucket limit.

Also picked up a safe last week during black Friday. Being in an apartment with a room mate and such I didn't want to build a big collection with out a safe. He's a space cadet and who knows about his friends and who is there when I'm not home.

yep, we can. Just haven't had time to make the drive.
I'll get up pictures of mine to see if we can't put you over the edge :D
Exactly... 93 is a waste, just use the additives.

    Mikey,

I've found the replacement carbs on Amazon and alike to work great. Search the tecumseh motor number + carb and you should get quite a few hits on replacements that are shipped in the $25.00 range. My neighbor across the street repairs small engine equipment and he'll use them if he has time to get it shipped before the customer needs it. I've bought 2 so far; one for my 8HP log splitter and another for a 5.5HP lawn vacuum. I recall the most expensive one was $27.00 to my door.

My Stihl saw manual specifically states not to use 87 octane just for that reason. It also says to run it dry if not using the saw for over 1 month.

Don't get me wrong, I run 93 in my small engines too--mainly because it's what I put in the truck and I fill it at the same time. But in this state the ethanol content is the same so that's not a reason to do it.

    Meh.
You're welcome to post 'em, and I'll be happy to see 'em, but I 'shot' my gun wad on that 1911 last month. Plus right now I'm doing Christmas shopping, so I'm not buying things for myself at the moment. Maybe if I get an X-mas bonus I'll drop it on an AR, but honestly my Ruger Ranch Rifle spits .223/5.56 just fine for the time being.

Edit: Of course, I still want one, haha!

This is a good point. I always use 93.and add startron right away for use in my boat and snow blower. For my weed wacker I just buy the pre mixed ethonal free cans from Lowe's.
