I'm not so sure, with all the talk and issues with recalls and lawsuits I'm leaning towards replacement. Also because it's taking so long if it were a clamp it would be done already.

Did some trimming of front fenders to match with my Pelfreybilt front bumper. Finished the cut off with some black edge trim.

I thought about a lock for the can, but I'd like other people to be able to use the contents on me if necessary. Figured I'll just leave valuable stuff in the cab and not cry if a first aid kit gets taken. I like the washer idea though...hadn't thought of the can cracking.

I had the same thought, I've mounted first aid kits on the outside of motorcycle saddlebags for the same reason. Make it available with out a key.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Spiral cable replaced through recall. Also changed oil and tire rotation. No pics.

That's awesome. Very practical. I am sure the basket will help the weight distribution of the rack so the bedsides don't cave. I like the quick connect pins (although you should just do that on both sides)

Thanks Guys ...No I had built... the upper is made by Allpro the lower rack / basket was built over at SCAR offroad in El Cajon Ca.
I only pined it on oneside ..thinking it would take longer to steal it if you had to unbolt one side

Finally got an alignment after upgrading the suspension. Was only out a little on the toe. I didn't get a printout for the real numbers.
