    If there's a failure of the temp sensor it will trip a code. It uses resistance that changes based on temp so if sensor is going bad it can give some weird readings. At -40 or 284 it will trip the CEL. That's why I'm just wondering if it's a indicated high temp or has it been validated.

    No mud in the radiator. Local supplier has at stat in stock.
    I'll grab one this week and switch it out over the weekend and let y'all know.;)
    It's like a $40 part so no big deal.

    Also, the highest temperature reading I saw on my scangauge was to 255°
