President Obama signed a new Stolen Valor Act of 2013 which makes it illegal to claim to be a recipient to obtain money, property or other tangible benefit.

I had a large person step on my feet accidentally in high school, and I guess stepped on my toes is more inline with reality.. which shoved my nail into the tissue on both of my big toes left and right sides. Each side was a surgery, and my left foot, on the left side was done a second time a few months ago as the nail grew back in as it was before which caused inflammation of the tissue. I graduated in 2003, and I just had it redone in 2014 and dealt with it the whole time because I was under the impression it was crazy expensive and didn't have insurance. Like most things.. with insurance it's a lot more money, I had to spend money on an initial consultation and then the surgery itself which was around $300 cash.

In the beginning I tried soaking in epsom salts daily and using Neosporin and it ended up getting worse which is why I needed the surgery, it was borderline gangrenous.

The picture posted shows the swabs that are inserted into the tissue that produces the actual nail, and it has an acid gel that kills those sections of tissue so that the nail stops growing there. The nail is trimmed and cut away, then the tissue killed to stop nail growth and then it's wrapped up and you're on your way. Local anesthetic, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

 

Read an article today that the local LE's are looking for him since it is a federal crime under the Stolen Valor Act of 2013. They are looking at pressing charges.

 

Is it not also covered under Military Code of Justice?
