2.7 Prerunner Access Srs

Anybody own one of these? Im thinking about pruchasing one. I noticed that the 2.7 Prerunner Access Sr5 dosen't come with Fog lights like the v6 Sr5, and Trd. Any way you can add foglights to the 2.7 access pre? How do you like your 2.7 Prerunner Access Sr5?

 

You can add foglights. yes.

 

Get the fog light kit off ebay... was an easy snap in system. Splice the power wire into the parking lamps (green wire) and the lights turn on instantly! Cover the wires in the black plastic crap, and you will never know they went in after market!!

I got the 2.7 access SR5 and i'm loving it. Mines a 5spd Manual, wit 4WD and TRD package. very difficult to find, but they're out there. definetly go for one u'll love it.

 

Mine's a PR SR5 Access Cab I found used in the Spring - so far it's been the perfect truck! I haven't done mods to it yet due to cash flow problems, but it will be in line for new wheels/tires before the snow flies.

 

I just had one of these preferenced for me in red, dealership said it should arrive early November. I can't wait to get it and first mod (of many) will be to add fog lights.

 

Awesome guys I will be getting some fog lights as soon as i get the truck. Im thinkinig early next year, there aren't many 2010s out yet here where I live. Ive been looking for a 09 but haven't found one yet, im hoping to pick up a White, or Silver. Also I was wondering if you can put the front skid plate of a V6 on a 2.7.

 

Skid plate should bolt right up if it's 6lug to 6lug, doesn't matter on the engine. The Toyota skid plate (the shiny one) is made for show, not protection, FYI...

I imagine all the 09s were picked up in Cash 4 Clunkers! Good luck on the '10 (no real difference)

i got one and love it, except the mileage before* modding it. after modding it ill deal with the mileage. off roading with it is a blast wish i got the 4x4

 

i have a 09 access cab 4x4 sr5 4cyl, i just got it a couple months ago and i'm lovin it man these are some badass trucks, you can't be to nice to her though their made to get treated rough!

 

What was the total cost you guys paid? WIth tax, registration etc...

 

Daughter drives an '08 PreRunner Access/2.7/5spd and liked it so much that her brother purchased an '09. He likes his too -- works his harder than she does!

Mine was 14g with 48k. Base model prerunner 5spd 2.7. Added cc, int wipers, fogs, skid, bed mat, bike racks, kayak/surf board racks, ipod/mp3 connection, wo seat covers, all weather mats, etc. Needs pwr inverter, rr locker, light bar, etc etc etc, lol. Gitcha one & mod mod mod.

 

I have white '09 2wd, A/T , Sr5 Access cab and love it. I had a base regular cab 'o7 before this and definently like the conveinence of the Sr5 package.

 

My '05 was 14k+tax/tags in the spring, 19.5k miles...
