I'm sad riley is gone... and afraid we won't find a good replacement. He wasn't the best coach but he is the most respected

 

Give him credit for turning 3 star athletes into NFL prospects. But it would be nice to have a championship team... but for that to happen, the attitude of Corvallis needs to change, and I don't know if that'll ever happen.

 

Everyone I talk to here is ready for change and ready to start competing in the PAC 12.

 

Don't get me wrong, I think the change will be good. Just unsure of who we're going to find as a coach. I think the students are ready, but overall the attitude of city just doesn't seem ready for a team that can be top 10 ranked. But, I haven't been in Corvallis for almost a year... but from everyone I keep in touch with I try to make an educated statement. Haha.
I'd love to see the Beavers be top ranked, but I don't know how it'll happen...

Also Muschamp/McElwain will cost UF 13 million in buyouts. FSU's indoor practice facility cost 15 mil.

 

They won't. They do not have the money for a top tier coach. Look for them to find an OC/head coach from a smaller school and pay him around the same Riley was making.

 

You know how much $$ is in the U.F. booster fund?

 

Brady they have the money. Especially with the TV deal. But they have decided to pay down their debt before spending it. Which is responsible but puts you last in the arms race

 

More of what i meant than actual no cash. I don't think they get anyone known to top college football. Maybe they promote from within, or look for an osu guy? Who knows. It is the beibers

Why they decided to build a huge facility for the rowing team is beyond me. No one cares about the rowing team.

 

Things were pretty groovy around here a couple years ago when the Beavs cracked the top ten (#7).

 

We got Leach. Out of No where. We were paying Wulff 600,000/year and stepped it up to 2.5 a year for Leach. You never know

 

Yeah I was still there back then. I miss those days.

 

I just wanna see muschamp move to college station.

 

UF isn't worried about that, Their AD doesn't want an indoor facility anyways.
