It was pretty good. Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam/Arches National Park were spectacular. Driving from the Grand Canyon to Moab, UT was unbelievably beautiful. The Navajo Reservation, painted desert... just wow. By the time we hit Kansas, I was ready to be home. I was driving the truck and hit a bug the size of someone's head. Martie does not like Kansas.

    Good morning lady.

    Hello! How's it going?

Cold. Very very cold. It's a shock going from 105 to 49.

Can't say I'm very happy to be back at work.

Sounds like a yummy bug - not.

You're lucky you weren't driving outside Odessa TX... left there early one morning and got back after dark... don't know what they were, but my windshield was covered in bug guts.... whatever they were kept slamming into the windshield with a big SPLAT - it was gross. Not the size of someone's head, but pretty good sized.

The first day back is usually the worst...

Well, tell Mike to get it fixed :D so he can try it out...
