FWIW, I'm still selling the Nikon 10-24mm lens.

Let me know if you're interested.

EDIT: here's a couple more recent photos.

Those are priced pretty fair. Do you have them listed elsewhere?

So a 10-24 lets you zoom out even further (like, wider field of view) than my 18-55?

    This camera stuff is crazy.

    Selling a lens as well...

Canon 100-400. Overall condition is great with no visable markings like scratches and such. Very small amount of dust under front element which doesnt effect IQ and is common with this type of lens. I am the only owner and purchased it in 2011 (UZ date code). Sorry for the crappy iphone pic...

I tried to pimp this to a guy I work with that has a D5100. No dice.

Yes. I have the 10-22 and love it. You should buy that!

If only I had some cash... glws.

Yup. 18mm is roughly 27mm equivalent for you. My 10mm is about 15mm equivalent. On the wide end just a few mm is a big difference so going from a 27mm to a 15mm is a jump of 12mm wider which will look drastically wider. This was my landscape/cityscape/travel/camping lens. Ha

Thanks for trying, anyway. Maybe he'll come around before Christmas :)

I don't have any money set aside for more camera stuff, and i just started playing with the 55-200. I have so much to learn

I would absolutely love to support Chaz though....his work is phenomenal!!!

    Disagree sort of.

The 10-24 canon is still faster. And has the external meter.

There is no doubt the 10-18 is well worth the money.

I was saying he should buy Chaz's 10-24, I thought he shot Nikon.

Had the 10-18 been out, I would have definitely looked at it. I haven't played with a 10-18, but I would really like to shoot them side by side.

I do like my nikon, its not no fancy $2000 rig but i'm not half advanced enough to run it let alone a real camera. So i like it, i'm learning.

    Pretty neat!

Not the greatest photo, but it did win me a gift card to Zio's and is the featured photo on their website for the month. https://zios.com/social/ give it a like if you are on instagram

This is exactly how I feel about all of Nikon's fast primes.

The 1.8 vs 1.4 equivalents just aren't worth the "upgrade" imo.

For a vast amount more money, size and weight you get marginal better quality. Especially with the 50 and 85. The 85/1.8 is maybe 95% the lens the 85/1.4 is and after testing both the 50/1.8 and 50/1.4 I preferred the f/1.8 version. Why pay out the butt and heft more weight for a third of a stop?

Unless you're uber-pro and don't need advice from a noob of course :p

I recently sold my intro setup, it was only a D3000 with stock lens, but now I'm missing it. Reading some of this thread and checking out 500px makes me want to get back into photography :pout:
