I was already anxious about driving the truck with the trailer (never done so before) and then this monstrosity splatters on the windshield... and it got stuck under the wiper blade. Green bug guts all over... Stupid Kansas.

We had to clean the windshield at every fill up... and even still we weren't able to get all of the bugs. We had bees immediately circling the truck diving in for some treats.

He's waiting on parts from Camburg. Right now, the front passenger side suspension is being held together with ratchet straps. One the replacement parts are in place then he can determine what the extent of the damage is. We already know the steering linkage is bent all to hell... but not sure what else yet.

We've spent the past 8 months working on, sleeping, dreaming, breathing the truck. I'm looking forward to some time away from it. It has been great learning about everything and fortunately, I've become well-versed enough that I can hold my own but I am so sick of looking at the Tacoma ;)

    *sigh*

That day, I have a fundraiser for my sorority sister that was in the hospital due to complications from the swine flu. That night, we have a concert.

Have I mentioned how much it sucks to be booked months in advance.

I need to do that this afternoon... doesn't help when you have a semi-long haired BLACK dog that sheds ALOT...

LOL!! Yeah....Molly isnt too much of a shedder. She IS, very stuborn, though, and the last time I vacuumed, Julie came home and asked why there was an unvaccumed spot on the floor shaped like a dog. If Molly wont move, I vacuum around her. Hell....Last week, I threw on the soft brush attachment, and vacuumed Molly. She just gave me this look.

    That's funny.

I've never hit them with the vacumn while vacumning, but Annie runs when I vacumn. She is terrified. Ollie just moves when I get close (usually to where I"m headed next) Oh, well.

Yeah....For some reason, Molly has no fear of the vacuum. I may get an air horn and mount it on it, so I can command a little more respect.
