Bhlm?

Anybody think my truck would look good with the BHLM? never saw a base model with it done?

Im just worried it would be to much black!

 

I think they'd be sweet BHLM'd. Then again I'm biased because I just did mine yesterday lol. Go for it!

 

Yea, it should blend your headlights with your black grill and smoke bug guard. It should look good. JMO.

I think it will look good too. If I ever grow a pair, Im hoping to do the bhlm to my base model.

do it for sure, it is easier than you think, If you are worried about it being to much black, I did mne in a charcoal mettalic color that I really like.

 

Thanks, i used a couple coats of flat black Krylon Fusion to bond with the plastic, then top coated with Rustolem charcoal metallic. You can kinda see the paint cans in this pic, I will see if I can get a better pic of the rustolem can. Also the paint dried a little darker than it is in this pic.

 

I was wanting to do something like that (charcoal) but wasn't sure the other paint would stick... Doh (per Homer Simpson) or face palm (per what's his name from star trek)

Yeah it sticks fine, Like i said just use the krylon fusion as a base coat. Once it is sealed back up, it shouldn't be a problem.

 

I voted no to the black. The charcoal metallic would probably work though.

 

Also if anybody know of a truck like mine and could post a pic of it with bhlm that would be awsome!

 

If you are going to keep that base grille, try to color match it.

 

every truck looks better with black headlights. do it!
