I would like to design a kit for 11+, but I have not been able to get access to an 11+ truck with a scoop yet. I do know that the scoop on the 11+ models is not nearly as tall. I have a feeling there will not be a light narrow enough to fit. The Rigid 10" SR light that I use with my kits is a very tight fit in the 05-11 models.

Here are some night shots as requested. This is with a spot/flood combo light. If I were to do this again, I would recommend a spot light beam. As you can see in the first pic, the hood blocks some of the up close light coverage, so I believe that a flood pattern isn't as beneficial as a spot would be in this location.

First one is the LED Bar only
    [IMG]

this is my low beam headlights only. I do have IPF 65 watt bulbs in my headlights, so keep in mind that they are much brighter and cover more distance than the factory bulbs.

This is with low beams (again IPF 65 watt bulbs) and the LED bar both on. you can see that the LED bar is a much brighter "white" colored light and it also extends out past the low beams a bit farther.
The thing I really like about the scoop mounted bar is that it puts some of the light up higher than the headlights. That combined with a spot pattern light allows you to see objects that are past the headlight coverage area more easily.

Looks great! Agreed that spot is better in this location based on hood cutoff. PM coming

The bulbs I have are IPF 65 watt H4 replacement bulbs. The bulbs are actually from an old headlight conversion kit I had on my 87 4runner. I thought they were 65 watt, but this link says they are 55-90 watt. Im not sure exactly how that is figured. These should be the same bulbs I have.

I'm sending 10 of these brackets to powdercoat today. I will also have a few in raw aluminum available if anyone else is ready to order.

How about the actual switch for the lights?... Can you offer a direct replacement for the stock Taco blanks..???? Possibly with a dim "on" indicator..??? Just a thought ... I've seen nothing about the switch....

Thanx Man.... your idea is very interesting.... I'm thinking that I might need that.. Just have to convince the Bank Manager...hehehe
