Flowmaster is the best sounding exhaust, but they dont give any hp gains.

I have a flowmaster 40 series that I think is Ok, a little raspier than I would like. I wish I had gotten a magnaflow.

    I recommend the Aero Turbine.

Engineered to be the best for performance while keeping the sound tolerable.

Here is the 2525XL with long tube headers on my truck. Sound is very mellow while cruising, and this is with a turn down.

I have the Aero Turbine 2525, it sounds great and works best all around with an otherwise stock exhaust. If you have headers, I would use the 2525XL to tone down the headers. I think the sound is awesome on my truck!

For performance, the WickedFlow is hard to beat. It ranks with the Dynomax in performance, but it is smoother sounding and costs much less. TacomaWorld members get discounts.

I have a wicked flow which sounds good. But I don't know if it actually compares to the dynomax super when comparing performance. I don't know anyone that has actually dynoed them so who really knows how it performs compared to the OEM.

Op, the recommendations offered here are astounding. There is so much to ponder, its all about personal preference (just sound, or sound with performance? is budget a concern? or sky is the limit? aaahhh so many choices). Try to listen to sound clips. If you have a decent speaker in your pc you will get an idea.

Good luck brother! Once you settled pls do post pics.:D
