Could do a two-in-one upgrade if you plan on changing up your rear shock setup in the future. Trail Gear frame boxing.

Won't let me link it for some reason....

I was plannin cbi but... Good point about shock setup. Maybe I should just do the box kit! Would save $$ in the long run I think since I can keep current shocks and don't need to have much custom fabbed. Thx for the input.

Yeah, could do both... But that'd probably be overkill really... Haha

I'm trying to decide on whether to do that or BAMF shock relocation. Problem is, BAMF's doesn't box the frame.

Hmm... To box or not to box. I think I will probably go with the CBI reinforcement plates. I don't go offroad that much to justify it (but that might change haha)

    Still have time to decide

Been thinking of a new sig... Was learning some photoshop and AI at work so figured I'd take a crack at it. I like this pic, but should probably update with something more recent... Feel free to critique the work, I have a bad eye for art, but tryin to learn :)

Looks awesome! Wish I could do stuff like that!

If it we're me I would take out the gray background and cast shadows for the wheels instead. But I think it looks great either way!

You caught me, I was trying to squeak by without working the shadows much, since that is a bit more 'art' :) Btw, I did all of this in Gimp, a free program which is very similar to Photoshop, just takes a little patience and watching a few online tutorials.

Shipped weight was about 165 pounds. The bumper is 90 pounds and the tire carrier is 75.

Frame plates are much easier to weld on than the box kit. The reason I don't like the box kit is Toyota has wiring and lines running through the frame channel, so either you have to relocate them or box them in. The reinforcements plates have nothing standing in their way so they are a quick weld.

I actually think these frames are fairly strong, even though they flex a lot. I loaded my truck down with 700 pounds in the bed, that bumper (165 lbs), 85 lb spare, and a 6000 lb trailer and I didn't have any issues. Over time it would probably bend, but it can survive with a little extra weight. A rusty frame would completely change this...

Picked up this for camping and wheeling... Omg it is the coolest tool I own by far lol. I'm actually apprehensive about using it ha.4926f40523da3204aef4fda7b2135e31_ee95cc2980e25a472d155e5301bb6078cd806498.jpg

Cool! One of my most used tools on the trail. This is what all my trails looks like in the Spring, and me using my little Husky:

    IMG_0356_zps3d3b5b87_2fc3ea1fbee96ff99df82a7943e7faee92f64f07.jpg

I've gone down a trail before, cleared it, and had a tree fall down sometime while I was further down the trail. Having to clear it to get back out. Trying to devise a way to mount it on the swingout.

Hopefully that craftsman holds up for you. And it's probably good to be apprehensive, they are no doubt quite dangerous.
