Thanks cyakker. Mostly been stalking the last couple months. Lots of good info here.

I believe it. When we test drove it was a sunny day and they had a blue 14 access cab on the lot that made me choose to wait two months for a blue 15 than drive the white one off the lot.

Saw your post from when you ordered, so I'm aware of your stalkiness. :p

I was also leaning toward white... and was sort of pushed to BRM sight unseen, but once I saw it there was no looking back. Under some types of street lighting is almost a strange metallic purpleish.

I think the paint has a tiny bit of red in it. I have notice some of the purple tint in it in small amounts in darker lighting on overcast days. I really like the metal flake blue in the sunlight when clean. Hard to keep that look though.

Back in '04 I bought a 04 GTO that was nearly the same blue as our trucks. The salesman let me borrow the color chip from their book. I took it to Home Depot, had them color match it, then painted the trim of my house.

Anyway... I watched as the Home Depot machine colored the paint and I was shocked at how much red goes into a deep blue.

Very nice looking truck to you too. We have nerf bars similar to yours going on in the next week. Do yours have a matte finish?

Very nice, just like mine 'cept with extra doors. Did you specifically want the color, or was it what was available?

the wifie and i were out lookin at the tacos and we both saw this one on the lot and loved the color. im actually partial to white but this truck reminds me of my dads old (1980 something) toyota, which was blue as well. Got the DCSB cause the DCLB wouln't have fit in my garage. ha

Ha, right on. I was also leaning towards white until I saw my BRM (and it was available, white wasn't), haven't looked back since and real glad of that. Turns out there's at least 5 white 2nd gens in my tiny town -- but only one BRM. :D

    Congrats on the rig!

You guys with pretty trucks are starting to make me think I should wash mine. It was clean once - the day I drove it off the lot. ;)

Yeah but in my pics what you're seeing is the showroom shine. Make no mistake, however; I have a sickness when it comes to keeping my vehicles clean. She might not even be dirty and ill wash her. The cold wont stop me either. I just use two 5gal buckets full of hot water - keeps the hands nice and toasty.

Taking delivery on Monday. 3rd truck, first Tacoma, first 4wd. Pondering wheel choices, exhaust choices, and the best place to get it dirty.

Seriously, no more BRM's out there? 1 week now and I've already got a few bits on their way (and a few arrived this morning). Exhaust later this week, a few LED's, TRD emblem, etc.

Picked this 2015 up in September 2014. Trying to find the right wheel/tire combo at the moment. All I have done so far is 5% tint and HIDs.

That's fantastic looking! Can you tell me the specs on your wheels/tires?
