(FEELER) What are the tackiest Tacoma mods in your opinion?

So if there is smoke rising from around my fuel cell, I disconnect the battery. Got it.

 

Glad I learned that. It would suck if I used the fire extinguisher on a potential Boom instead of just disconnecting the battery.

 

I'm in the process of writing all this down to put in the truck so I don't have to remember it in a panic situation. Want a copy?

 

I've had a fire extinguisher in every vehicle I've ever owned. I've only needed it once but I was damn glad I had it.

Had another situation where I was in a friend's car and wished we'd had one but didn't. He came very close to losing the whole vehicle but got lucky and it went out on it's own with minimal damage. He did wind up having to replace the main wiring harness though.

Yes. In case of fire disconnect your battery, no fire extinguisher needed. That is all.

a CO extinguisher is mess-free .... and expensive.

The 'powder' ABC extinguishers make a friggin' white powdery mess.

Nothing wrong with tube steps! This is the extent of my mods, with the exception of a sound system overhaul.

 

Back in HS, someone powdered the inside of my brothers '85 toyota pu 4x4, it was really bad.
