What's going on in abq tonight? I want to drink, but no car and no way back onto base if i did. I hate being on a trip with someone who is the true definition of a square.

 

Leaving base after dinner to go to randy Rogers band at a local dance hall... Assuming my friend still is able to go after her finals.

 

What's the price on those?

 

$20 cover tonight. Beer is kinda expensive if you like decent stuff.

 

Eh, we shall see. I have the Oregon game to watch starting at 7. Fucking Major I am TDY with is a moron. Wants the chow hall... on friday night... and won't go over to the bar. Doesn't help I can't stand this guy from previous work experience with him, and he doesn't remember me.

 

My god,there are so many better places to eat cheap if that's the concern!

 

At least go to the BX, the new food court isn't bad (Popeyes, dominoes, subway, etc).

Oregon game starts at 7. Guess I'll make my way back to the base bar. Other guy I was going to head out with is driving down to Las Cruces this weekend.

 

what would be a good ratio to get to, i want it to be back the the stock feel or faster i suppose but since i have to drive on the high way everyday for work if would be nice to get up to speed faster. if i do go to 4.88 is it hard to set the needles so they aren't so off?

 

You should be able to change the speedo gear in the transfer case to correct the needle.

okay cool, if i go up i think i might go to 4.56. do i need to get front and back ring and pinion gears? anything that i need?

 

What size engine do you have? With the V6, 4.56 are good if your doing a lot of highway driving. If you want better offroad performance do 4.88.

You will need to gear both the front and rear, if you can swing a wrench you can order complete diffs from ECGS and swap them in. Also if you dont have a locker now would be the best time to install one.

 

Is it suppose to sound like a space ship when turning the ignition off? Just bought a new 2015 trd sport . Lol doesn't sound right

 

It can.......they added an additional vacuum blow off valve to the new ones.

 

Code was a P0420 (cats or O2). Installed the new cat-back exhaust last night and no CEL yet. Hoping it was just the O2 sensor leaking around the gasket.
