What's everyone's thoughts on it? I am just curious about it.

Yes it changes the ride. Makes it a little stiffer than stock.

Checked Toytec catalog and no mention of this part. Front shock or rear spring?

don't listen to all the bs about spacers here. while not the optimal setup it depends what type of spacer is added how the ride is affected - an in coil spacer will compress the spring and stiffen up the ride, a top plate spacer will not change the ride.

when i 1st got my taco i put a toytec 2 inch in coil spacer lift up front and it stiffened up the ride. which in my opinion was better, but it didn't take long for the front to start feeling bouncy because the strut/shock was wearing out or just not up to the extra preload. i ran it like this for 18-20 months. i didn't want a top plate spacer for 2 inches because i wasn't sure how this would affect the rest of the front end parts when extended.

Probably would go with a darker spring.

Also would the spacer affect down travel and up travel of the shock. And I know lifting the truck could affect CV axles would one inch make a difference.

Why would you drop more money for the rear, than you would for the front?

One of these can also be used on just the drivers side to fix the usual taco lean...

My Baja is off (lower) on the drivers side by about .75inch in the front and 1 inch in the rear.

What part of this confuses you? Top plate spacer is outside of the coiliver, ride is not changed (unless alignement is out of spec), jst pshesnthe whole thing down causing lift. The in coilover type spacer compresses the coil in the coilover adding 'preload' which stiffens up the ride.
