Hey all. Was thinking about what kind of fog lights to get for my Tacoma. I got a 13' base model so I got squat when it comes to lighting.

I have a set of OEM ones from my 2013 Sport that I will be trying to sell in a couple of weeks when I return to the states. It is only the lights though, no wiring or switch.

    There's about a gazillion options.

If you just want factory fogs, I would drop $70-100 on a set of OEM take offs that you can find in the classifieds here, and install those. They are easy to wire up and will fill the blanks in your bumper. A lot of guys take them off when they install aftermarket bumpers, which is why they get listed for sale with some regularity.

Other than that, the aftermarket has tons of offerings, ranging from "old skool" round halogen lights on up to full LED lightbars. You will need to figure out a budget, what you want from the lights (i.e. actual performance or just the appearance of off roadiness), where you want to mount them, and so on.

Some good names to start you off with searching for would include Hella, PIAA, Rigid... Hella has some nice offerings that aren't stupidly expensive and look pretty cool, I think.

Just search on here. You'll be mind fucked. :D You know there's a whole subforum for lighting, right?

I recently was trying to decide what I wanted, and searching this site helped me figure it out. I actually saw the setup I wanted in a guy's signature picture, emailed him to ask about it, and then bought a very similar setup.

I personally wanted a more "old school" look and had a budget in mind, so I opted for a set of Hella 500s ($60) and an N Fab light bar. I'm very pleased with that setup. But as with everything, YMMV...

I'm trying to decide on waiting till I get a bull bar and getting a light bar, our cutting out the OEM fog lights covers and installing them there
