The most painful part isn't the score it's how hard Healy has been sucking off the Leafs since they took the lead on the own goal

Nice shiver to the throat too Robidas

Hey Oz, would you like some cheese with that wine :D. I don't give two fucks how a team wins, it's the W at the end of the day that matters and the leafs need every win they can get right now. Be-Leaf!

Canucks out shot the Leafs 46-28 , problem was Miller allowed 4 on 14

Quick allowing 2 on 16 proved just as bad. Hard to swallow when you have a 22 shot advantage.

As the expression goes, stats are for the losers of the game'.

Any one stat by itself is but only a starting pt. if one is attempting to mathematically explaining away a game's result. So really, all stats individually are over rated.

The only real way to know a game is to have both all of the stats and have actually watched it. Sport is too dynamic. There is much going on in a game that never even sees the stat sheet

When your team is up 4-0 less then halfway through the game, its quite common to let off the gas and defend more. Most shots were outside of scoring areas. Canucks were good last night, but you cant blame Miller for the loss

Yup. I was watching from the game tracker on TSN and the shots were within 1 or 2 after the first, and within 4 after TO was up 4-0. Vancouver than took there coveted 4 line rotation and shortened the bench while TO tried to protect the lead. It's not surprising the shots ended up like that at all, though I hope it teaches Carlyle to not let off the gas in that situation.
