I have a use for the third one now.

 

Got my 6" blitz pro lights (4 of them)
Now where to mount them? I need ideas...

Kinda want to use one or 2 of them as reverse lights so I can see better when reversing at night. The softopper hinders my sight so the extra light would help. Where to mount the other 2?

Also, any idea on where to mount the 2 I'm gonna use for reverse lights? Don't want to mount them under the stock bumper because they will be in danger of being ripped off. Having a softopper limits where I can mount them.

 

Are those the Blitzpros from that discount buy they had recently?

 

Yep. Hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else.
I noticed if i whack the hell out of it with the rubber covered handle on the screwdriver, they will glow dimly, maybe a loose connection inside.

Edit; they did work when I first hooked them up.

 

I saw where you mounted your 2 on the front bumper, Looks good.

Since My winch isn't installed, I think I'll mount one of them on my relentless bumper winch line slot. Wish I had a roof rack so I could mount two Blitzpros facing left of the driver side and one facing right of the passenger side. I need a little side light.

Winch slot would fit about right, you really need two though to get any real light.
I like 'em so far, decent output for a utility style light. If I don't have further problems, and maybe able to fix this one, I might get a few more. I know a lot of guys here bought some so I'll wait and see.

Installed a large Mob Mount today. These things are very nice. Picked it up in the recent GB.

Went wheeling again today in Lucerne. Perfect conditions.

 

Now that is some hard core rock climbing .

 

That 1st pick I was stacking a few rocks to get over that section. .

Finally got my off-road and fog lights aimed.

 

eh. all four of my blizpro 6'' lights are working fine. including the two in the mirrors and they get soaked, dunked, chipped..pretty much anything off my front tires ends up on them, which includes but not limited to: rain/water, snow, dust, mud, rocks, sticks, truck parts, and small cars that don't get out the way.

they are cheap. You get what you pay for..what did you expect?

 

If a light goes out in a matter of hours I'd say thats probably a fluke.
