    Thought about it but the whole suicide door thing kinda puts it out of the running because getting adults in the rear seats would be tough. If I can't find a Runner the FJ would be my next choice. There's a green one here that I see every once in a while... :drool: Love that thing...was the first one I saw with a color matched roof. Has bumpers, roof rack, everything.

    I had a Subie before my truck...got rid of it because it couldn't go the places I wanted to go. Subies are great for a lot of things but they will shake you to death on bumpy roads. Only thing I really miss about Subie is the mpgs...would get 28 to 30 easy peasy

    The mid 00s are the best truck Ive driven out of all the 4x4 suv . The best power & balance of anything out there. Gets in places a big SUV cant :cool:..Im still at a lose to y they quite making them..
    Like the old fj are going up now, someday the V8 Runners will also..people will see them for what they are.

    I thought the same but then I actually got in one. Drove it, rode shotgun, and rode bitch in the back seat and was comfortable everywhere. As you know I'm 6'2".
    I'm SERIOUSLY considering one for Bonnie once the lease is up on the Quest.

    I like the fact that it's essentially a shorter wheelbase tacoma SUV - even many of the suspension parts are compatible with my truck.

    The 4runner or the FJ? The front suspension on all three vehicles are the same, and the rear on the 07-09 FJ and 03-09 4runners are the same.

    Also one more thing, if any of y'all are looking at 4runners and are tall, try to find one without the sunroof. I'm 5'10" and occasionally hit my head on the roof just because it sticks down so low with the sunroof.
