    I derped my rear badges - didn't like the way the Tacoma badge turned out. The V6 badge was fine so I removed the Toyota and Tacoma off the tailgate. Nice and clean... :)

    What did you use to remove the badges? I wasn't a fan of using so much googone last time to get the residue. Anyone using something better?

    And this. I just kept applying WD-40 over and over with a soft towel. Let it sit for 5 minutes or so and wipe again. Then near the end it was soft enough to scrape off with a credit card.

    You guys think the wd40 is safer on the paint then the googone? I used the same method removing the rear badges now I'm going after the sides.

    I don't think either one will harm the paint. I've used both and they both perform about the same, the WD-40 working slightly better.

    I don't think googone is not safe. I've used it on lots of cars and painted surfaces and never had a problem. Give it a good soap down as soon as you are done. No worries.

    1.5 months ago removing TRD stickers and badges I used WD-40 on one side to and Goof Off 2 on the other.
    Goof Off 2 removed the adhesive 5x easier with less residue.
    Regardless of choice, make sure and use 100% cotton terry to avoid micro scratches.
