I simply made mine almost the exact same way for $6 out of a roof L bracket from Lowes. Have a very slight vibration in one of them that i fixed but overall i was very happy with them. They are definitely very tricky and took some cutting and bending to make them clear the hood/ windshield.

Got my brackets and Rigid Duallies installed this weekend. Brackets are nice, only complaint I have is I had to enlarge one hole on the driver side in order for the bolts to line up. No big deal. The Rigid LEDs are CRAZY BRIGHT! BTW I also mounted up my Warn 9.5XP-S! Fun weekend

Just a tip guys, the second pic here shows the correct hole to use for the "bottom" bolt. The instructions from CBI tell you to use the hole closest to the engine for the drivers side but it does not line up.

Don't these require some cutting of the plastic molding in front of the windshield though?

Yep, and honestly that was the most difficult part of the install. I used the pics from the instructions as a base and then trimmed a bit more when I saw what was rubbing. That plastic windshield piece was a pain to get lined up again too.

I also had to enlarge a couple holes on my one braket and the truck. Cutting the plastic cowling was a pain in the butt and prob took close to a hour. I just followed the directions and cut little by little. Overall these things are solid and I don't expect to see any vibrations.

Check VLEDS LED kits. Amazingly bright and long lasting.

I just received mine in the mail today, anyone have a picture of the cowling back on? And what did you do for the clearance of the cowling?

No pic handy but just trim a little and put it back. This will show you what more you need to trim. Trimming was actually the longest part of the installation

If anyone has a second could you take a picture just for a visual of what it looks like after trimming the cowling.
