I think they bump TCU out and move FSU to 3. So there's a possibility of Bama moving to 2 to set up that match up

 

With OSU's win yesterday I feel like they could have a case to jump to 3rd, because thats the way the committee has worked thus far.

 

While osu was impressive yesterday, TCU has a much better body of work. Their lone loss was to Baylor and was only by a couple of points. OSU lost to VT. By 17 points. Let me say that again. OSU lost to Virginia Tech by 17. OSU is not getting in. The too 4 will stay exactly as they were going into this weekend. Everyone won big. You can't penalize TCU for winning 55-3 not to mention they have a higher strength of schedule. 1. Bama 2. Ducks 3. TCU 4. FSU

Wow. Just goes to show how the field should be expanded to 8.

 

We're gonna get Baylor or TCU and that scares me. They're gonna be pissed that they didn't get in.

 

8 leads to 16 which leads to 32. This is college not the NFL. These kids still have classes to attend

You're joking right? Classes end this week. That's not an excuse. And this is the only playoff of any kind in NCAA with such a small field. The basketball tournament lasts for 3 weeks

 

Not for everyone. Quarters have another week. And then everyone starts up again in January. The 8 team works if you start the playoff early instead of giving a month off

 

Top 6 sounds better to me than top 8. Conference champs of the top 5 conferences, and then whoever if the next best.

Should it NOT be conference champs anyway?

 

March Madness proves that the regular season means jack shit. Win your conference tournament and your in. Football doesn't want that

With only top 6 you have to give 2 teams a bye. It's more fair and logical to just use the top 8 since there's not going to be a huge fall off in talent between them.
