Look at the B1G champ in 2012. 7-5 Wisconsin won it. Should they be in the National Title discussion?

There should be a Heisman type award for one of y'all's liver.

Big12 does need a conference championship. All conferences should have a championship, I think.

That said, the big 12 is a better conference than the B1G, which is one of the weakest conferences in the nation, in my opinion. I would have probably put Baylor in over OSU. Yes, they lost to WV, but OSU lost to Va Tech.

 

They won their confrence. In a power 5 confrence. Yes they should have the ability to win for a national championship. NFL does that. NCAA basketball does that. You can have a shitty regular season but win your confrence tournament and you get into The Tournament.

Completely disagree. I don't believe that Wisconsin team was worth much, they just lucked into the situation because better teams were on postseason probation. There will be situations like that in the future where the best team in a conference is on probation and a crappy team like Wisconsin will win the conference.

Why not just add a couple of teams like Boise State, Colorado State, UCF, or East Carolina? Wouldn't that be easier and make more sense?

Depends on who they hire. I think CSU is good now and the Big XII needs more teams.

 

CSU and BSU would expand the big 12s network range too. Or do they go csu and smu?

 

SMU is too weak. University of Houston, Marshall, and La Tech are other decent options.

They'll want to get out of Texas. Opens recruiting up more for the conference if they'll go somewhere else. In my opinion, at least
