hell I heard a noise thought it was water pump going out. then came a vibration and people all around staring at me. got it home up on stands. I just happen to put my hand on the left wheel and there was my WTF moment.

    Damn that sucks. Sorry man.
I had a wtf moment prob 25 yrs ago old muscle car gave it hell. I was always doing something to it and sometimes getting stopped for it. But after a friday night street racing got home and as I passed over driveway edge I heard a big thump. Got out and opened hood and was about to lose my upper control arm. Just put poly bushings anywhere I could. Upper wasn't splined and it pushed out bolt. Got it fixed myself back to work on monday.
    Any backup transportation?

My truck has been doing something odd lately, every time I go in reverse the left rear wheel makes an on and off squeaky noise, kinda sounds like a squeaky door just opening and closing. The faster I go in reverse the faster it sounds (not saying I go fast in reverse but y'all know what I mean :p)

    Any ideas?

Just in reverse? Is it anywhere in reverse? Reverse and turning in same direction?

Whoa man, my bad! Yes, it's just in reverse. Doesn't matter if its turning or going straight, it still makes the noise but only in reverse, not a squeak going forward.

I had that same problem a couple years ago and it turned out to be my carrier bearing was going to shit. That is a good thing to check and cheap to replace.
