O.K., I would like to know the interest of a meet (off road or street) down here in the deep south! I would like to do something around Panama City, Florida. There are a few regulars that I know that would like to go. But what about you people that rarely posts.I am not a member of any other Forum, this is the only Tacoma site I visit but I know there is alot of members that lurk and rarely post. What do ya'll think? Give me some feedback....

I thinking during the summer or even late summer at Panama City Beach. And what's great about PCB is that Panama City is just across the bridge and you've got some pretty rural areas that could have some off-roading.
HomerJ, Atlanta is about 5-6 hours from me. It'd be nice if you were a little closer. I'd like to hook up and maybe have some drinks.

Shouldn't be that hard to get a meet together. We could also post this on TN if you want a lot of people because there are a lot of Florida Taco owners on there.

You have any idea of when this might take place?

I just started thinking about it at work yesterday. I'm thinking late summer, so I can save some gas money and poop like that. What do you think? Oh, and hell yeah, post it on TN. Maybe somebody on TN has connections there.

Just posted it on the Tacoma forum over on TN. That should get a lot of attention.

I can't think of any Taco specific meets that took place in Florida.

I know that the Fj Cruiser Florida Forum seems to be pretty active with trail rides and camp outs.

Ya know, it could even be done here around Jacksonville. Kinda more centralized. Hell, maybe St. Augustine. You can still drive on St. Augustine Beach. I think its still three dollars to get on there. People from Lower Alabama and Georgia, the pan handle, and south Florida. How does that sound?

There have been 2 meets in New Orleans over the past year. That's a good drive for you though.

There is no driving on any of the Jacksonville beaches anymore. St Augustine is 45minutes from Jax.

Yeah, Daytona is still drivable. It's 90 miles from Jax.

Dang I wish this was going on in PCB. I could get atleast 3 DC's down there. Its only like a 5 hour trip and we planned on heading there anyways this summer. Put some factory wheels and tires on my taco ad get great gas milege and switch them over once we get there :)

Panama City Beach is still an option. My Oldest Daughter lives there. I still think over in Northeast Florida is looking real good.
