I think they are. All I've ever had. Both of mine are awesome. The females stay smaller and seem to less hyper. Still the are active dogs. As long as you keep their minds working while they are puppies you'll be set! They love truck rides, swimming and also are content sitting on the couch.

Some from this weekend. Hes coming up on 10 months!

Sadly his face didn't get in focus but this captures Ash's movement in the snow perfectly. He would jump from spot to spot, dig, then shove his head in like Monte's labs do haha. I just sat there and watched him go to town for 30 min or so.

My next pup will be a GSP.

I have a Weimaraner now. Worst gun dog ever. Birds dive bomb her and she's terrified of guns.

Oh well. The kids love her

Same happens with labs. I'm not sure what the cause is. I know mine hates the fireworks but is all over gunfire. :notsure:

Gotta say tho, GSPs are nice looking dogs.

You won't regret the house warmning gift...LOL. And the kids won't either...I'm on my 4th and have never had any fear about them biting anyone. Although the one I have now bit a biscuit...had to put gravy on it though...:sandwich:

Man am I glad I don't have your vet bills. I have 5 (4 rescues) and I know what it cost you...But in the end it's worth all the love they give you....

Yea, my mutt eats a 26lb bag of Canidae pure in like 6 weeks haha. It's pretty nice considering its not a cheap food.

Yea but as long we're buying a good brand of dog food our pups will eat healthier and live longer, with fewer problems...god bless'm...

Yup, I figure I'd rather spend the money on a 5 star food and have a healthy pup vs saving money on food but giving it to the vet later.
