Picked up an Ultragauge off a TW member. So far it's been doing great, pretty convenient to have. The MPG isn't what it is now, as much as I wish it was..

Installed the All Pro ALUMINUM Apex bumper. I was shocked at how light it actually is!

    b54f364a2d8ca86b839cede5d4024cfc_c161c75b6de6ce417dbf6d75d151b8790f95eaa0.jpg

Then less than 12 hours of installing it, I was already drilling holes into it.. Moved my CB antenna from the bed to the passenger side of the bumper. Now I fit in the garage! I also installed my OHV light pods into the fog light holes.

In the next week I'll be picking up a Smittybilt XRC 9.5K winch with the synthetic line which will be replaced by some MasterPull 5/16x100 synthetic line.

That was actually at Southington Off-road, about an hour east of me towards Youngstown. It was an interesting night. Good group of guys... Most had some insane jeeps but I did just as well even with open differentials. Come up this way sometime!

Thanks! I just finally got back into it after taking a little break but I'm full throttle. I have lots to do to get ready for Rock Therapy and stuff. I was going to get the steel version but I liked the lightness and non-rust benefits of the aluminum so I threw in the extra cash.. which was a lot more extra. Lol

Right on dude!! I would love to go to rock therapy, my wife is preggers though and were expecting right around those dates haha. Yeah bro those things are expensive! I decided to make my own bumper. Not as nice as the AP but it does the job haha.

sorry if im replying wrong...I usually just message people on the TW forum on facebook, but I haven't been to any off road spots, my family has some property in Athens county that I can go wheeling on, ill probably come up to Southington sometime early 2015..it would be nice to have someone to go wheeling with!

Just let me know man. I'm not too much of a wet mud off road kinda guy, I prefer the dry, trailing stuff but I'm down for anything to a certain extent. Just know that Southington give you gifts, long white lines front to back all over your truck.. Keep that in mind

Picked up a Smittybilt XRC9.5 winch with Synthetic line yesterday. So far, I'm not complaining.

    b17ccbe34c7a1f7393bcc9df2abf6d87_ca455cf7614ed524031b9fe9a6d4ec6e931a6908.jpg

I've started to rip it apart to throw in some Mobil 1 synthetic grease and seal it up myself so I know it's good to go.

Hoping to have it back together and in the bumper this weekend. I will also be wiring in cab controls for it thanks to a fellow TW member.

Finished the rebuild last night and spent this morning installing it.

So, I had kept running into issues with fitment and wiring and such but it came out fantastic.

I had to rotate the clutch handle 90* downward to make it fit and to be able to free spoil easily.
    1eb2f995c7a180683f49ffed5f75d266_b0c344b451fed64a483c141a524bbd3f302b9ef9.jpg

For the solenoid box, All Pro drilled holes on the passenger side of the bumper to mount the box. Well at least I think so. There were four in total but I was only able to use one. Oh well. Genius idea if that's what they are for.
    25e4224a4496823f7abe00a070132509_04f87f3206cb5d7528fd043d2316068783a27b03.jpg

This is everything installed before putting the bumper back on.

Then the pretensioning process... Would've been easier if the temperature wasn't -2 outside with wind chill around -25.

I am very pleased with the end result and the product. I will be on the trails this weekend so maybe I'll have a chance to use it.
