Cool man. I appreciate it. We can talk price through PM and figure something out. And then I can do them either bolt on or weld. I personally like the option of bolting them on so you can take them on and off if need be. If you build them right they're just as strong as the weld on. I would use grade 8 3/8 bolts which have a super high shear strength so they're strong. I'll paint them black for you.

And as far as your other message, dude totally not cramping my style at all. To me TacomaWorld is an awesome place for people to make friends, share ideas, and have a good time. My truck has a lot of inspiration from other dudes trucks and that's just the way it goes. I love my rims too man, methods are sick. Check out the method NV's too. I appreciate the kind words. And yeah dude you just let me know when you're ready to get started with those things and we'll get ya set up. It's kinda one of those things where I like to build things on the side and if I can save you a little money and you like the way they turn out then it's a win win.

Absolutely man love the idea of the sliders. I'm excited. I'll definitely let you know when I'm ready for them. And thanks for the recommend on the methods. I didn't even know the comany existed till I saw ur truck, then I was hooked haha. If ur down do do weekend runs I'm down any time. Just remember I'm a noob and my truck is bone stock. But thanks again and hope we do business on day, then tear up some trails on another (in the future ) lol.

Was out at gorman yesterday, the rain made it nice and tacky. Great place for beginner trails, you can do pretty much everything in a stock 4x4.

Cool thanks for the info. I am thinking of going up there next Saturday early morning to check it out. Was there any snow on the ground up there yet? Thanks again for the info and any updates you or anyone else can share.

West Camino Cielo in Santa barbara is a popular mild off road trail. It runs from a couple miles off the 154 at the summit over to Refugio road and has a few moderately difficult bypasses.

I haven't done Ballinger OHV park out by Lockwood Valley but there are lots of trails there. I have done Hungry valley OHV park near Gorman and had a blast testing my skills. It's like a ski resort- trails are rated beginner (green), intermediate (blue) and expert (black) and for $5 you get a map and free reign of the place. I learned a lot just trying out things, like how to pick lines and how to approach large dips (dragged the bumper and bent the tow hitch plug). Hungry Valley is prob about 1-1.5 hours from VTA. You can also camp there.

Big Bear has lots of trails too, and my favorite has been the Sierras (Kern/Sherman Pass and up by Hume Lake). Just so much fun exploring new places!

Thanks Gen, I am thinking of going out and trying Gorman this Saturday I saw some of there maps online and I like that the trails are rated. I appreciate the other suggestions as well. I will have to check into those also.

First offroading I did was in Gorman. Cool place. Definitely some cool beginner trails there. I'd be down to do a day trip there soon.

I think I am going to hit up Hungry Valley OHV park near Gorman this Saturday 13 Dec. I hope to get there around 9:00 AM and spend most of the day there playing around. Let me know if anyone would like to connect up. My wife has an event for work she needs to be at so I will most likely be alone, possibly doing some scouting for places to try to hunt next season...

No snow yet, it doesnt get much in the winter, just an occasional dusting. Check out Pronghorn trail for a mainly beginner trail with an intermediate rock wall. For speed stuff there are several river beds and fire road setups. Be careful for dirtbikers and ATVers.

Ballinger isnt worth going to for 4x4s, mainly a dirtbike place. There are whoops everywhere because it never gets groomed.

Thanks for the input Sean. I thought that area was a bit higher in altitude and got regular snow in the winter. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'll save the trip to balling ER for when I'm out in Lockwood Valley anyway.

Cory, Sunday won't work for me I will be in Church until roughly 12:30 then by the time we get home and changed it on the way it would be 2:00 at the earliest getting me there between 3-4... in the amount of daylight we have not a good plan. If Saturday ends up not working for you maybe another day will. Keep me in mind I can be flexible most days but I don't budge on Church or family.

Considering the bad weather we are supposed to get tomorrow and the fact I have never been there I will pass for tomorrow. I will check to see how Monday looks I might be able to make that work at least for part of the day.
