    4 litre V6 auto still uses the A750E
    2.7 Litre auto still uses A340E
    4 litre manual still uses the RA60

    So, the transmission will still plug right up in an 05 tacoma then right?

    They may still use the same transmission , but its possible the wiring harness and electrical connections have changed over the years .
