That's a cool video man! I just got a go pro 4 silver. Pretty excited to use it soon on some trails.

I will be heading thru there in June. Looks like a must see trail for me. How long is the road and is it two way traffic? Parts of it looks like Moki dugway.

Its two way, although I really, really enjoy going clockwise much more. It takes two days and you need a back-country permit for camping. I think three or four vehicles can go on one permit. My favorite camping spot is Hogback, white crack second. You need to bring all your water and food with you. There are pit toilets at the campgrounds and I think there are a few picnic areas along the way.

This is the road up to Murphy Hogback campground. Epic!

Lots of people MTB and motorcycle the route, although I've done it both ways. MTB sucks and the motorcycle is a bit of a slog to get through in a single day. I think it's best in a truck where you can take your time, meander. Stop. Lay on the ledges... [IMG]
and just absorb and digest the whole experience.

You have to register for your permit well in advance because it's such an epic adventure, everyone-needs-to-experience-it, kind of thing. That and tour companies snatch up all the permits as fast as they can so they can sell slots to Mountain Bike Groups. Pretty shitty actually, but it is what it is.

Everyone needs to do the White Rim Trail at least once in their life before it gets closed down.

Fits with 4 inches to spare, can't tell but my canopy bars stick up and then I have cross bars on top of that. Parking garage count?

Yup, definitely agree with this. A great trail for sure! These photos were stolen from Pliny from our trip a few months ago.

I don't think I would have willingly done that! I am not a fan of water or mud and that looks like a crappy combination of both!

Agreed, awesome pic for sure but I would have shat a brick most likely if I went through that.
